During this event, Dr. Janan Smither will describe technologies that can improve the activities of daily living, increasing independence and confidence. This talk will cover wearable technologies, smart homes, virtual reality, and social robotics, to name a few. Appearing with Dr. Smither will be two robots from her lab — Jibo and Lynx. Dr. Smither is a University of Central Florida professor of psychology in the College of Sciences.
