Evening Piano Recital with Dr. Sun-A Park

Dr. Sun-A Park, UCF Assistant Professor of Piano, will present an evening recital and a richly varied program for solo and four-hand piano, showcasing masterworks spanning classical elegance, romantic virtuosity, and 20th-century rhythmic vitality.

Dr. Park holds degrees from The Juilliard School, Yale School of Music, and the Peabody Conservatory and received top prizes at numerous international competitions. She recorded an album of Clementi’s early keyboard sonatas for Naxos in 2019 and has been teaching at UCF since 2022. Her recital will include pieces from Ludwig van Beethoven – Sonata in D Major for Piano Four Hands, Op. 6, Amy Beach – Summer Dreams, Op. 47 (for Piano Four Hands), Frédéric Chopin – Selected Études (Solo Piano), Franz Liszt – Sposalizio from Années de pèlerinage, Deuxième année: Italie (Solo Piano) and George Gershwin – Cuban Overture (Arranged for Piano Four Hands)
