Assisted Living that’s all about life

If you or your loved one needs just a little help with day-to-day activities, from medication management or bathing to getting dressed and more, our assisted living neighborhood is a great way to maintain your independent lifestyle while getting the assistance you need.

Our beautiful assisted living apartments are private and offer all of the smart layout and high-end materials found throughout the campus at Legacy Pointe at UCF. And while the assisted living wing of our main building offers many of its own amenities, from a theater room to a dedicated dining room, residents have complete access to all of the fantastic dining, entertainment, wellness and other amenities and services available to residents all across campus.

One of the many incredible benefits of our affiliation with the University of Central Florida is that nearly every aspect of Legacy Pointe has been influenced by the University. In the case of assisted living, UCF’s Colleges of Medicine and Nursing were essential in developing our overall care program based on leading-edge thinking for senior care and living.

Wellness is about more than just physical health; it’s about looking after the complete self—mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Our wellness programs improve overall quality of life, social engagement, and more. It feels great to get moving and visit with friends at the same time.

Wellness programs include yoga, aquatic fitness, massage, lifelong learning opportunities at the University of Central Florida, nutrition education, and so much more.

Q: How do I know if assisted living might be the right choice?

A: Whether you’re concerned about yourself or a loved one, it’s best to start with a physician’s assessment. You can then match needs to the right level of assistance. When help with activities of daily living is needed, such as taking medicines, bathing, dressing, meals, transportation and housekeeping, moving into assisted living can be the answer. Rest assured, care services at Legacy Pointe are designed and managed with the same quality you find at UCF’s Colleges of Medicine and Nursing.

Q: What if my needs are greater than what assisted living offers?

A: We’re a continuing care retirement community, also known as a CCRC. That means in addition to assisted living, we provide access to memory care and skilled nursing. These services provide round-the-clock care for someone who needs long-term supervision or support, or for individuals recovering from illness or injury.
