Frequently Asked Questions

Independent living at Legacy Pointe means more freedom and more flexibility. Every day is yours to enjoy, with built-in opportunities to take advantage of all around you. In short, there are no restrictions to the lifestyle.

Yes. Your entrance fee will depend on the size of the home you choose. It provides you residency at Legacy Pointe at UCF’s independent living community and grants access to all on-site amenities, services and activities. Additionally, it includes the protection of lifecare, ensuring your access to a full continuum of care, if you ever need it.

Yes. Think of the monthly fee as a consolidation of all the bills and costs of living in a single-family home. Your monthly fee will pay for all maintenance, housekeeping, your meal plan, scheduled transportation, water, basic cable, electricity, unlimited use of common spaces and campus amenities, and much more. The amount you pay depends on the size of home you choose and whether you live with a second person. A second person pays a significantly lower monthly fee.

Yes. They’re family, too! We’re a “pet friendly” independent living community and welcome dogs, cats, birds and fish upon approval. Be sure to ask about the pet policy and approval process and the “pet friendly” areas of campus.
